Blame television, magazines and giant billboards for setting the standards on how fashion and style should look like. An afterthought though - blame the public itself for setting the trends on whatâs hot and whatâs not. Many generations have passed, and this generation is no exception that - models are defined to be skinny, size-zero bodies for women and well-toned and rock-hard abs. This notion is widespread among magazine covers, billboards and catwalks. Dress styles and other fashion essentials are also created to suit these fashion models. And celebrities and stars are the perfect example of these. This means that youâre not in the circle if you donât have such shoulder blades and the hour-glass figure. Because of this set standard, several problems arise like eating disorders and being fanatics of weight control. This is also one of the reasons why teenagers suffer from anxiety because of peer pressure and the need to always look good. Amidst all these, one fashion show serves as a breather when they featured the ânot-so-ordinaryâ models. Tejas Gandhi, a City designer, showcased her collection of plus size fashion as plus size models walked down the catwalk and flaunted her designs. Gandhi shares that the inspiration for this collection are the clients who come up to her and say that normal clothes often donât suit them. The secret with designing, creating and dressing up the plus sized individuals is using some tricks. Tejas Ghandi shares that fabrics, style and cut and designs help a lot in making plus size fashionable too. She also revealed that thin fabrics do a lot of wonders and asymmetrical cuts helps in hiding their figures. With this new project, Ghandi inspires other designers like the designer duo Souvik and Aditi. The duo relates that this Ghandiâs new collection is the first of its kind. One great designer said that fashion fades but style doesnât. Whether you are a plus size or a size zero, looking good and being fashionable should not be a problem. With all the designers who are brave enough to take on the road less traveled, strut your fashion with pride! And fashion as we speak, another piece of fashion accessory that evolves and stood the test of time is the necktie. A whistle-bait figure or a cuddly one, brand name necktie never fails to let you shine. Mens necktie can also be used by women as well to accessorize and add a little twist to an otherwise usual and boring outfit.
